Grand Ballroom

The Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 900 people and rents $1,400 for a Saturday reception. Friday evening receptions in the Grand Ballroom rent for $1,000, Sunday – Thursday rent for $800. Additional hours can be arranged in advance for an extra $100 per hour. This is a wonderful venue for weddings, anniversaries, banquets, benefits, trade shows, and many other events. It can be utilized with varying set-ups.

Outdoor Festival Garden

The Outdoor Festival Garden is spacious and can accommodate groups of any size and rents for $250. It has a stage and an open air pavilion, so it’s perfect for large outdoor parties.

Barns, Other Buildings, Grandstand, Parking Lots

Our barns, 4H and McDermott Buildings, Grandstand, and parking lots may be rented for various animal shows, auctions, etc. Our open-air grandstand can sit up to 8,000 people. Please call 563-588-1406 for more information.

Primitive Campgrounds


Camping is available at the Fairgrounds. Amenities range from primitive to RV and may include water and sewer hookups, electricity, wifi, showers, and restrooms. Camping is limited and prices vary during certain events/times of the year. You must contact the fair office in advance of your arrival to determine availability and to make reservations.
