Concerts

Chris Lane, originally scheduled for Thursday, July 30, 2020, has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 29, 2021. Queensryche, originally scheduled for Friday, July 31, 2020, has been rescheduled for Friday, July 30, 2021. Skid Row has a scheduling conflict with the new date and will not be rescheduled.

Existing ticket holders that would like to attend the concerts in 2021 should hold on to their tickets – there is nothing they need to do.

FAQs

How do I request a refund for concert tickets?2020-06-22T21:00:20-05:00

NOTE: You must request a refund before July 23, 2020.

If tickets were purchased through ticketmaster.com, ticketholders will receive an email with more information, including a link to request a refund. They may also request a refund through their Ticketmaster account.

If tickets were purchased through the Dubuque County Fair Office, please call 563-588-1406 or stop by our office during normal business hours to request your refund. Please have your tickets available as we may need some of the information printed on the ticket.

If tickets were purchased through a third party (ex: stubhub.com, etc.), you will need to contact the seller to ask for a refund. As a reminder, the only place to get official Dubuque County Fair tickets is through ticketmaster.com and our office. We are unable to support third party tickets.

Will there be carnival/midway rides this year?2020-06-17T22:36:13-05:00

Unfortunately our midway that usually is at our fair, North American Midway Entertainment, couldn’t make it financially feasible to come to Iowa for our fair only (every other event on their schedule before and after our fair were cancelled). Therefore, they’ve informed us they won’t be able to come to our fair either. Our fair board tried to find another carnival but all others were in the same boat as our original carnival. Our normal carnival will be back for our 2021 fair.

How will you make the fairgrounds safer during covid?2020-06-17T22:19:55-05:00

The health and safety of the community is, and always will be, the highest priority in producing the annual fair. In the interest of public health, the fair is working on implementing procedures to follow the mandated guidelines with social distancing, added signage, additional hand-washing stations, and increased cleaning/sanitizing procedures. As a reminder, if you feel that you are sick, vulnerable, or showing symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you please stay home and join us in 2021. We will have additional details in the coming days and weeks.

Why did you change the fair this year?2020-06-17T22:18:00-05:00

The Dubuque County Fair Association’s Board of Directors has spent many hours discussing how we can proceed with our mission to bring people together and provide an atmosphere where family traditions are created and continued in Dubuque County. We have asked ourselves if we can safely provide a fair by following social distancing guidelines and other safety measures. We also had to decide if it was financially feasible to have a fair during these difficult times. We have been working with several local and regional agencies to help us make this decision including, Dubuque County Extension Office, Dubuque County Board of Supervisors, Iowa Association of Fairs, several regional county fairs, Dubuque County Health Department, and other officials.

Do you have information on 4-H/FFA?2020-06-17T22:16:01-05:00

Dubuque County 4-H/FFA exhibition details are still being worked on by the ISU Extension and Outreach with more information to come soon.

I want to keep my tickets for the 2021 concerts. What do I do?2020-06-17T22:11:48-05:00

Nothing! Your tickets will still work for 2021 – so keep them in a safe place! There is no need to contact us.

I got my tickets from somewhere else (like stubhub.com, etc.) – can I get a refund or exchange these?2020-06-17T22:11:43-05:00

You will need to contact the third-party vendors you purchased your tickets from and ask about a refund. As a reminder, we only support tickets purchased on our official ticket source, ticketmaster.com, or at our office. ☺️

I have specific questions. Where can I ask them?2020-06-17T22:11:36-05:00
