Pets are not allowed on the fairgrounds, with the exception of service dogs or animals approved as part of an exhibition. Service dogs are those that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Pets are not allowed at most non-fair events, with the exception of certain shows and service dogs or animals approved as part of an exhibition.
The health and safety of the community is, and always will be, the highest priority in producing the annual fair. In the interest of public health, the fair is working on implementing procedures to follow the mandated guidelines with social distancing, added signage, additional hand-washing stations, and increased cleaning/sanitizing procedures. As a reminder, if you feel that you are sick, vulnerable, or showing symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you please stay home and join us in 2021. We will have additional details in the coming days and weeks.
