Gov. Reynolds signed a new Public Health Disaster proclamation that relaxes existing public health measures effective Sunday, February 7th, 2021 while continuing critical regulatory relief to those on the frontlines of COVID19 recovery for an additional 30 days.
The proclamation strongly encourages Iowans, businesses, and organizations to take reasonable public health measures consistent with guidance from the Iowa Department of Public Health.

! Dubuque County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to extend the county’s mask mandate. The mandate requires anyone 3 years of age or older wear a face covering over their nose and mouth when in a public place with anyone who doesn’t live in their household. The mask mandate will remain in place until June 15 or when every county resident eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in Phase 1B and wants one, has received one, whichever date comes sooner.
